"I'm So Excited" is Pedro Almodóvar's newest film and his first comedy in years. The film reunites the Spanish director with several members of his stock company of actors, including Javier Camara, Cecilia Roth and Lola Dueñas, with cameos by his most famous alumni, Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz. Almodóvar has been entertaining audiences for more than 30 years with his stylish, colorful movies. After thoughtful films like "Dark Habits," "Matador" and "Law of Desire," the writer-director became well known in international circles and achieved a level of success in this country that is very unusual for foreign-language films.
